I like to use a project management system for my team so we can all see what’s being worked on and the goals we are working towards. Though I’ll admit, I’m still a pen and paper girl myself. There’s just something about being able to cross a task off that list that I do enjoy.
When my team and I start a new project, I like to sit down and plan it out from start to finish along with who is doing what and give each task a specific due date. It keeps us organized and on track. If there’s ever a delay, we are careful to communicate it to the team so dates or plans can be adjusted accordingly. For me, seeing the daily to-do list or schedule helps keep me on track to meet my deadlines as well as deadlines for my clients. It keeps me focused and increases my productivity.
